A Simple Reset
Most people don’t need a bigger plan for 2026.
They need a cleaner one.
I just finished a workshop with Taki Moore (legend!), and one exercise stood out because of how simple and honest it was. No complicated frameworks. No productivity theater. Just clarity.
It’s called the 2026 Simple Reset.
Grab a blank sheet of paper and draw two overlapping circles (see below).
On the left side of the left circle, write STOP.
These are the things you need to stop doing in 2026. The habits, commitments, or patterns that are not helping you grow. They waste time, drain energy, or quietly hold you back. You already know what they are.
What one, two, or three things, if you stopped them, would change the game? Write them down.
In the overlapping middle section, write STAY.
These are the things that carry forward into 2026. They work. They are good for you. They are growing you as a person and as a professional. They deserve to stay.
On the right side of the right circle, write START.
Don’t overdo this. Two or three items is enough. Maybe one. What are the most impactful actions you could start that would meaningfully move your life and work forward in 2026?

When you’re done, don’t file this away.
Make it visible where you can see it. Hang it up. Frame it if you need to.
Then, show someone your circles. Share them with a person who knows you well enough to notice when you drift and cares enough to tell you the truth.
Not to pressure you, but to help you stay aligned with what you said mattered.
Small reset. Big difference. If I can help you in any way as we move into 2026, I’m only a reply away.
Hope you have a great New Year!
